Starting work with the end result in mind.
It means to determine the purpose of life and start working. This practice has been called the principle of personal leadership. By describing an emotion training practice, the author begins an explanatory discussion of the practice and tries to convey a message. He asked the reader to think deeply that four classes of people are talking about you in a memorial or mourning meeting after your death. Your spouse or children, friends, colleagues and your neighbors or religious or organization mates. The message is that you want to hear such words and comments about yourself after death from the mouths of these four classes of people; Just live your life that way. If you want to hear good words and comments about you from them; So lead your life in a good way and if you want to hear bad comments from their mouths; So lead your life that way. It means-
- Performing actions in a planned manner with the end result in mind.
Biography of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam: Aswad
Radiyallahu Anhu narrated that Abdullah Radiyallahu Anhu said, I heard Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam saying, Allah
‘Whose focus will be the hereafter; Allah is sufficient for his earthly (worldly) thoughts. And the person who is disillusioned with worldly thoughts; God does not care if he perishes in any valley or desert. ‘On the authority of Abdullah Ibn Amr Radiyallahu Anhu, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, ‘In the arena of Qiyaamat, Allah Ta’ala will present an individual of mine in front of all creation. Then ninety-nine deeds will be revealed before him. Every deed will be the limit of sight. Allah will ask him, do you deny any of it. Has the recorder of your deed wronged you in keeping an account? Then he will say, No, O Lord!’ extends to Ares
Stephen then writes, ‘Part of starting work with the end in mind is working with a clear sense of your destination in mind.’ in its month.
2.Determine the purpose of life according to the end result.
Life philosophy of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam: The Creator did not create man without an inter-Tayala goal and purpose. Every action, deed, thought, effort, and even every breath of a believer’s life should be aimed at attaining the pleasure of Allah alone. He created His servants to worship Him alone. It is mentioned in the Qur’an,
‘And I created jinn and humans only to worship Me. Narrated Umar Radiyallahu Anhu, who said,
’Before you reckon yourselves, reckon yourselves. It means that before you are judged on the Day of Judgment, you should decide the purpose of life keeping in mind the end result and lead your life accordingly.
Stephen writes, ‘Begin with the end in mind’ – this formula is based on ‘All human creations are in two stages. The first creation is in the mind. Second SanIn the real world.’ The author then outlines some philosophies of planning and unplanning and calls the second habit the foundation of personal leadership. He said, ‘Leadership is the first creation and management is the second creation. Leadership means choosing the right thing and management means managing the thing in the right way to do.’ Several issues emerge from this discussion, namely-
- Planned and unplanned walks.
Life philosophy of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam: ‘Plan for what is within reach, do not plan for what is not.’ The influence of this principle can be seen in
the lifestyle of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. It is stated in the Holy Qur’an,
’Allah is the best planner. ‘
- Leadership first and management later.
Biography of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam: Abdur Rahman
Ibn Samura Radiyallahu Anhu said:
Once the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me, O Abdur Rahman! You never seek leadership. Because if it is given to you after asking, then all these responsibilities will be assigned to you. And if you get it without asking; Then you will be helped (from Allah).’
Explaining the second habit, Stephen R. Covey then writes, ‘Two humanities broaden our pro-active perspective and enable the exercise of personal leadership in our lives. The two faculties are imagination and conscience.
- Pro-active people are imaginative and conscientious.
Life philosophy of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam: Conscience is the great protector of man. If the conscience is not awakened, people indulge in various crimes. Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam kept people away from crime by instilling conscience and humanity.
A young man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, “Give me permission.” At his words all those present were shocked and started scolding. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam called him to him and said, “Would you like to do this to your mother?” He said, By Allah. no May Allah sacrifice me for you. Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam then said, No one likes his mother like that.’ He then asked the young man one by one about all his close female relatives and the young man said no to all of them. In this way Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam awakened his conscience and prevented him from sinning.
Mr. Covey writes, “Starting with the end in mind also means that no matter how big the obstacle or obstacle, we should not be swayed from a value-based decision.” It means-
- Building a values based life or following values in life.
Life philosophy of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam: Trustworthiness, honesty, benevolence, promise keeping, character and responsibility etc. are the basic elements of human values and ethics. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “He who has no trust. He is not a believer. He who does not keep his promise has no religion.”
A person who does not practice morals and values, Islam is a quadruped
Called worse than animals.
Then Stephen II, while discussing the process of mastering this habit, highlighted the process of personal, and family discussion, including the diagnosis of the central character of the person, and said, ‘Our environment changes very rapidly. This change frustrates people. They think they cannot accept change. They become reactive and give up everything. But instead of doing this, it is necessary to be proactive.’ It means-
- Don’t be disappointed in anything.
Biography of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam: Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud Radiyallahu Anhu said, ‘The greatest sin is associating partners with Allah Ta’ala, becoming restless from His grasp and despairing of His mercy.’ In the Holy Qur’an it is mentioned,
“No one despairs of the mercy of Allah except the disbelieving community.”
